A wonderful stay in the heart of Kidwelly. Amenities were just as described and we felt the welcome gifts of a card, wine, local biscuits and dog treats were a lovely touch. So close to the Castle for a taste of history, river walks and the Gatehouse Cafe close by did a good vegetarian breakfast for me. We used the cottage as a good base for exploring the South Coast Of Wales and visited the most beautiful beaches, nature reserves and wooded areas. Everywhere seemed within reach and our farthest trip West was to Milford Haven which was well worth a visit as was the beautiful Gower and Rhossilli Beach. Loved Narbeth, Tenby and Llandeilo which were all within easy travelling distance. Enjoyed the Botanic gardens especially as there was a dog friendly Monday!
The local farm shop also did a great veggie breakfast and was dog friendly for our pooch Maisie. Would definitely recommend a stay here.

There is a coffee…
