Kidwelly Cottage was a beautiful little cottage with a fairytale outlook from the front door (you don’t see ancient castles a few doors away in suburban Melbourne!). The cottage was set up thoughtfully with everything you could possibly need for a self-contained stay, with a well-appointed kitchen, comfortable beds and a large, very modern bathroom. A small supermarket was a minute’s walk away for emergency purchases, and a larger one available a few streets away. Takeaway shops of various styles were located just around the corner, and a fabulous little cafe for breakfast or lunch at the end of the street. Julie kindly provided cake and wine for our arrival and was on hand to show us around and to see us on our way on our final day and was available at all times in between by email when we had a query. We would highly recommend Kidwelly Cottage to anyone wanting a comfortable home base during your travels around South Wales
